This week, I'm channeling my inner Justin Timberlake and bring sexy back with the help of McCalls pattern 6751. This pattern is literally the easiest project with the most chic look and has the best variations. It takes less than an hour to complete once you get the hang of it. I have made three tops using Version A and B so far. I'll definitely be trying the other versions as well.
I love that the style of this top screams summer! Of course the choice of fabric helps. I feel I can make this look like a fall outfit with the right fabric. I'll definitely be trying this theory out during fall.
McCall's 6751 REVIEW
Pattern Description: Misses Top with loose-fitting, pullover tops with backline variations
Pattern Sizing: Medium
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Exactly like it (if not better)!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy. This is one of the easiest patterns I've ever used
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the back variations of the tops (View A & B) and the variations of the views
Fabric Used: Polyester
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None. (Although I used french seams instead of regular seam or serger)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I've already made three tops in view A & B and making another for my birthday outfit.
Conclusion: Love it! Great choice for beginners and awesome wardrobe builder for intermediate sewers.
