Summer Makes Round-up
Summer sewing was busier than I had anticipated. I made quite a few basics that I desperately needed and a couple dresses of course. I didn’t write a blog about most of them since I used patterns that I consider tried and true, and may already have a blog post about it from previous makes. Here is a quick summary of them in photos.
#1 - Sicily Slip Dress
Pattern by Sewing Masin (up to 56” hips). My blog post about it can be found here.
#2 - Gilbert Top
Pattern by Helens Closet (up to 58” bust). My original post about this can be found here.
#3 - Ilford Jacket
Pattern by Friday Pattern Company (up to 60” chest). My original post about this pattern can be found here.
#4 - Saltwater Slip Dress
Pattern by Friday Pattern Company (up to 60“ chest).
#5 and # 6 - Reynolds Top & Dress (hacked).
Pattern by Helens Closet (up to 58” bust).
#7 - Refashion
I refashioned a RTW dress.
#8 - Axis Tank
Pattern by Sophie Hines (Up to 50” bust). I made multiple tank tops as it was a great stash buster and a very easy sew too. I am sure I’ll be making even more. Here are a few I could photograph.
That was my summer! Excited for Fall and what it’ll bring in terms of sewing motivation.
Happy Sewing,
Sylvia XOXO
