Welcome to my blog! I created ‘The Ravel Out’ to capture my makes while I unravel my sewing ideas, one stitch at a time.

Ravel (out)

verb

  1. unravel; untangle.

  2. undo (twisted, knitted, or woven threads).

DIY: Fabric Canvas Wall Art

My goal for the next couple of months is to actually make some of the DIY projects I have pinned on Pinterest since forever! So far, I have made a photo heart wall display and an African print pleated skirt. Since I have tons of fabric remnants, I decided to make a set of four 3" x 3" canvas wall arts. I was so pleased by how simple it was to do. Here's how it turned out! IMAG3398_1

Thinking of trying it out? Here are the supplies you need:

Supplies

  • Fabric remnants
  • Canvas
  • Staple gun (not pictured above)

I followed the instructions from this blog! Since I actually don't need this wall art, I'll be listing it for sale on my Etsy shop. I'm selling it at a low price since it's slightly untidy in the back.
